When Connor’s mom called me to photograph her son’s surprise proposal, I knew it was going to be a fun one! Connor’s mom filled me in on the entire plan Connor had started to form and told me how excited and proud she was that Connor was going to ask his long time girlfriend ( like 6+ years ) to ask him to marry him. Connor invited not only his family and friends but Josie’s family as well. Connor took Josie and her family to spend an evening doing quintessential Chicago Holiday activites which included the famous Christkindlmarket ( yes, its one word ). After the market they walked to the Millennium Park Ice Rink where his family and friends were hidden and watched the two of them skate on the rink for a bit. Connor pretended that he fell down on the ice and then when Josie helped him up, HE POPPED THE QUESTION! Everyone at the rink started cheering & the rest is history! Congrats Connor & Josie it was a pleasure capturing your romantic winter proposal. There’s nothing like a good Hallmark moment in downtown Chicago to get everyone in the Christmas spirit!
