A Chic Chicago Surprise Engagement Proposal in the Maggie Daley Park Garden
Sam and Nicole’s proposal was more than just a beautiful setup—it was a deeply personal moment filled with love, intention, and excitement for the future. From the stunning downtown backdrop to the romantic garden portraits, every detail came together to tell their story in a way that feels timeless.
Sam knew he wanted a custom proposal so he sought out The Yes Girls, proposal planner to make his vision a reality. Some of the wonderful custom touches he incorporated were the stunning Floral setup by Ashland Addison Events and the personalization of his suit with an embroidered quote inside his jacket that read, “Jo Tum Mere Ho” which is a lyric from a song about a love that exists without societal validation. This song has special meaning between Sam and Nicole. The other surprise Sam arranged was the appearance of their pup dressed in a little tux. It was so adorable. The proposal was followed by a surprise engagement party with all their friends and family.
