Meet Morgan and Nick! I have the honor of photographing their wedding in August 2016 in Rock Island , IL. I went to high school with Morgan in The Quad Cities and we share many friends and friends of our families. Nick asked Morgan to marry him after a lengthy 10 years of dating. Congrats I think is in order even before they tie the knot because that in itself is a great accomplishment. We started the shoot at The Figge Art Museum in Davenport, IA. The Figge is by far one of the most modern locations The Quad Cities has to offer, and I love the architecture of the building’s exterior. I also love how it gives the big city look in photos, even though it’s located in downtown Davenport. We ended the shoot under The Centennial Bridge on The Mississippi Rive. Nick and Morgan liked the idea of the bridge because the bridge connects the Iowa and Illinois sides of the river. Morgan grew up in Illinois and Nick grew up in Iowa, so it connects them as two individuals as well. I am excited to photograph their wedding as I will enjoy being with so many familiar faces throughout the day and they are a fun bunch!
