Dustin and Elena were married October 2014. The rustic ceremony and the reception was held at The Watchtower Lodge Black Hawk State Historic Site in Rock Island, Illinois. The Bride and Groom were hoping for bright fall colors and they completely lucked out. This State Park is surrounded by beautiful trees that were all at peak colors.  Dustin and Elena handmade all the decorations for the entire wedding and it was impressive to say the least. From the wood signage directing guests towards the ceremony to the acorns on every table at the reception, each was crafted with care and love.  I love photographing weddings that have so much sentiment in the details. Elena’s flowers were wonderful and done by the talented Old Mill Gardens in Atkinson, IL. Their yummy taco dinner was done by a Quad Cities favorite,  Adolphs Tacos! One of the moments of the day that I enjoyed the most was the vow exchange. The bride and groom wrote their own vows and they were beautifully spoken. The night concluded with a great crowd on the dance floor. Elena’s son is quite the dancer and he was dying to hit the dance floor. What a fun moment to capture. Thank you Elena and Dustin for being the best promoters a photographer could ask for. Thank you for asking me to be your wedding photographer.
