Mike & Sara planned a lovely Sunday Brunch wedding on the very warm summer day of June 19th. They were united in marriage at The Katherine Legge Memorial Lodge in Hinsdale, IL. These two decorated with woodsy touches of tree slices, moss and summer succulents. Family is very important to this couple and they were sure to include all of their nieces and nephews in their intimate outdoor ceremony under the tall pine trees. I especially love pulling all kinds of landscape into wedding portraits when the couple is very much in love with the outdoors. I was especially impressed with the words of Fr. Jef Johnson, he was such an engaging speaker and told the narrative of Sara & Mike’s story in such a way that by the end you felt like you had a front row seat the to evolution of their relationship. Like many couples today, Sara & Mike found each other while online dating. Mike had spent a good amount of time searching for the right one online and Sara was the opposite and was very new to it. I am so glad these two found each other because like two grade school kids they are very smitten with each other. Their down to earth, gracious, sentimental and kind spirits mesh well. All the best to journey ahead you guys!
