Biruk & Lydia Got Engaged at Montrose Harbor in Chicago
Planning a Chicago surprise proposal is always exciting, and Biruk’s thoughtful plan to propose to his girlfriend Lidiya at Montrose Harbor created an unforgettable moment along Chicago’s lakefront. With sweeping skyline views, Lake Michigan just steps away, and their closest friends waiting nearby to celebrate, it was the perfect setting for a romantic and meaningful proposal.
Biruk often visits Chicago just to be with Lidiya during their long distance relationship and he often trains for the Chicago Marathon and runs along the lakefront. He and Lidiya also spend time at the lakefront. This particular weekend he was running the marathon and thought it would be an exciting time to propose. He involved Lidiya’s friends and they agreed to plan a fake dinner in which they would drive her to the proposal instead. Once the proposal was complete, we took group photos with each and every one of their friends, followed by some portraits of just the happy couple as the sun finally decided to make an appearance.
